Julianna Grabianowski

Director of Operations and Finances
Malone Community Center

I received my Master’s Degree in Social Sciences form the University Duisburg-Essen, Germany. Currently I hold a position as the Director of Operations and Finances at the Malone Community Center, a non-profit organization in Lincoln, NE. I have been with the Center for 4 years and my duties include all financial related matters (payroll, budget development, payables, donations) new employee enrollment and supervision, grant writing and reporting, event organization, presentations, as well as participant evaluations.

What I Hope to Gain

I had personal and professional reasons for enrolling in the Ph.D. Program at Bellevue University. Besides seeking the intellectual challenge, I would like to apply what I learn at my workplace. A goal of mine is to improve services as well as agency efficiency by standardizing organizational procedures while at the same time considering individual staff needs and talents. I find it important to recognize a person’s talents and to enable him/her to build on that to grow to the fullest potential – for the individual’s and organization’s benefit.
