Western Printing

Currently, I am the SAP System Administrator and Business Analyst for Western Printing in Aberdeen, SD. Outside of my full time job, my experience has mostly been in higher education. I teach for three universities as an Adjunct Instructor, specializing in Management and Marketing classes. In addition, I do consulting for universities implementing new financial system software called Kuali. Prior to moving to the great state of South Dakota, I worked at the University of Minnesota and Colorado State University in Accounting. I am originally from Osseo, MN, but I have lived in Virginia, Kansas, California, Colorado, and now South Dakota.

I graduated from the University of St. Thomas in Minneapolis, MN with an MBA. My undergraduate degree is in Accounting and Management from Washburn University in Topeka, KS.

I have two beautiful girls who are 17 and 15 and a husband who has been inspiring me for the past 22 years. We love to travel and spend time together, along with our two dogs, Sunny and Daisy.

What I hope to gain from this program

I am excited to continue learning about a topic that I find extremely interesting and above all else, useful. I want to play an important role in how organizations increase productivity and improve processes through their most important asset. My ultimate goal would be to continue to teach in higher education with a PhD. Expanding my knowledge base will only enhance my student’s learning experience.
